H-1B Technical Skills Training Grant for Incumbent Workers

Are you interested in training and retaining current employees for careers in one of the a target occupations below?

If you answered “YES” to the questions above, the Larimer County Workforce Center’s Advanced Technical Training Program may be able to provide you with funding to train your employees.
Funding for this training was received from the U.S. Department of Labor to provide training assistance to highly skilled incumbent workers in the occupations and industries for which employers are most likely to use H-1B visas to hire foreign workers.
The Advanced Technical Training Program provides funding for the tuition costs for eligible training. Participating businesses must contribute a 55% In-kind training cost match.
Type of Match/Leverage – Cash or In-kind
Cash = paid employee(trainee) release time to participate in training.
In-kind = staff time used to organize training, meeting/training space, materials/supplies
