The State Rapid Response Team serves companies facing corporate restructuring and downsizing.  The services available are designed to provide employers and employees with related information and assistance.

WARN Act
WARN offers protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of covered plant closings and covered mass layoffs.

Preventing Layoffs Through Work Share
The Work-Share Program allows employers who are thinking about layoffs to keep employees working, but with fewer hours. To compensate for the reduction in hours, employees can receive part of their regular unemployment benefits.
