Colorado Unemployment Claimants now have the opportunity to receive a 50% increase in their weekly benefit amount if they are attending or recently attended training programs that lead to certain occupations. The Colorado Enhanced Approved Training Program (CEATP) allows claimants this enhanced benefit if training takes place during their initial claim. Below are details on inquiring about the CEATP program (Larimer County residents only).

  1. Confirm that you are in the Initial phase of UI benefits (first 26 weeks).

    (CEATP may be paid retroactively to July 1, 2009 if you were in an approved training program and in your initial claim from 7/1/09 to present. This benefit can be paid for up to 20 of the 26 weeks)

  2. Determine if your chosen field of study is on the approved occupation list Click Here for List  (Updated February 2012)
  3. CEATP applications are approved for the day of or after the first day of training. Please call the Larimer County Workforce Center representative for additional details.
