The Larimer County Youth Conservation Corps offers FREE Basic Home Efficiency Assessments to qualified residents (eligible households shall be determined based on utility provider).  Services and products are provided at no cost to you.  Crews will:

  • Install efficiency products such as compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), programmable thermostats, low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators.
  • Conduct a visual inspection of your refrigerator, water heater, heating/cooling system and home insulation.
  • Offer education on efficiency practices intended to lower your energy use and utility bill.
  • Discuss resources and potential rebates with you.
