Colorado Labor Force Statistics for March 2013

Colorado’s Labor Force statistics (Seasonally Adjusted) by County and City for March 2013 are now available HERE

Included in this information you will find:

  • Labor force summary for Colorado, which includes Labor Force Data and Wage and Salary Employment Data 
  • County labor force statistics for (December ’12), the previous month (November ’12) and for one year ago (December ’11). Spreadsheets include non-seasonally adjusted statistics for the Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA’s), including the Fort Collins-Loveland (Larimer County) 
  • Labor force statistics for selected cities, including Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley.

You might note that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased in December 2012 to 7.6% compared to the November 2012 seasonally adjusted rate of 7.7%. However, the state’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stayed the same at 7.5% for the same period.  
 
Similarly, the Fort Collins/Loveland MSA’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady from November 2012 to December 2012, hovering at 5.9%. That said, the non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 0.12% lower than it was in November 2011.
