You might note that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased in December 2012 to 7.6% compared to the November 2012 seasonally adjusted rate of 7.7%. However, the state’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stayed the same at 7.5% for the same period.
Similarly, the Fort Collins/Loveland MSA’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady from November 2012 to December 2012, hovering at 5.9%. That said, the non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 0.12% lower than it was in November 2011.
