Job Search 101
Description: So you’ve been submitting applications all over town and nothing is happening! This three hour workshop is designed to give you tips and techniques to a more productive job search. Looking for a job IS a job! Learn how to access job postings you hadn’t even thought of, network to gain access to information about your dream job, and gain employer perspective on what they are looking for to avoid being screened out.
Resume Building
Description: Even if you have never worked before you can create a resume that will attract employers. The purpose of the resume is to market yourself as being the employee they are looking for so the employer will want to meet you for an interview. Whether you have a resume already and need to update it, or have never created a resume this class is essential in your job search plan. This three hour workshop is conducted in the computer lab and you can leave class with your resume completed or at least a great start!
Interviewing Skills
Description: Having a dynamite resume and being invited for an interview is only half the battle. If you bomb the interview you won’t be offered the job, so BEFORE you even get the interview you need to prepare for your one chance to make a job winning impression. This three hour workshop gives you not only practice for common interview questions, but also tips and techniques on how to best present yourself to the employer and the business to get that job offer!

Description: Having a dynamite resume and being invited for an interview is only half the battle. If you bomb the interview you won’t be offered the job, so BEFORE you even get the interview you need to prepare for your one chance to make a job winning impression. This three hour workshop gives you not only practice for common interview questions, but also tips and techniques on how to best present yourself to the employer and the business to get that job offer!
