Trail Work

Trail construction and maintenance has taken place in areas all over Larimer County. Crews learn the art of building a sustainable trail and put their skills into action.

Habitat Restoration

From planting trees and shrubs to removing weeds the LCYCC works hard to enhance and restore the natural habitats local to our area.

Fencing

The LCYCC has replaced and built hundreds of miles of fence. These fences allow native species to move freely between areas while livestock is kept within their fenced area.

Conservation

Joining with partners and sponsoring organizations the LCYCC works to preserve critical habitat areas. Crews also receive education about conservation methods and ways to take action.

Community Service

All of the LCYCC projects benefit the community by providing recreation opportunities as conserving the natural local environment. The LCYCC also reaches the community by doing volunteer maintenance and conservation projects for local organizations.
