Interested in being your own boss and making some cash over the summer and beyond? The “Young Entrepreneur Tournament” series (ages 14-18) might be right for you! This 4-part workshop will walk you through the process of starting your own business. Learn how to come up with the winning idea, create a successful business plan, and effectively market yourself to earn money!  

Once your business plan is finished, you’ll have an opportunity to present that plan to local business leaders in our community for feedback. Top business plans will compete for a cash incentive award of up to $250 for business start up costs.

The Larimer County Workforce Center, in partnership with the United Way of Larimer County is pleased to announce these cash incentive awards.

Young Entrepreneur Tournament Dates & Times for 2012
Workshop Location:  Fort Collins Workforce Center, 200 West Oak Street, Fifth Floor

• Part #1 Workshop: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM –Saturday, April 14
• Part #2 Workshop: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM –Saturday, April 21
• Part #3 Workshop: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM –Saturday, April 28
• Final Business Presentations/Tournament:  Time TBD –Saturday, May 5
